Training in first aid and mine safety: more than 50 volunteers from Chernihiv region have acquired the necessary skills

At the end of June, two more important trainings were held, dedicated to first aid and mine safety in martial law conditions. 56 participants registered and attended the trainings, organized by the NGO “Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights” and the NGO “Active Society of Ukraine”.
The purpose of the training is to raise awareness and ensure the safety of volunteers and public activists of the Chernihiv region in emergency situations and in conditions of the spread of mines and explosive devices.
The participants were introduced to the fundamental skills of providing first aid in conditions requiring an immediate response, such as injuries, bleeding and other dangerous situations. Practical classes were also held, where the participants had the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in practice.
“We are grateful to all participants who took part in the training and expressed interest in acquiring first aid and mine safety skills,” said
Maksym Bogomaz
, head of the NGO “Active Society of Ukraine”. “The project implementers strive to provide volunteers with effective tools for a safe and confident response to crisis situations in their activities, and we are glad to see that so many public activists are actively participating in this process.”
The NGO “Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights”
and
the NGO “Active Society of Ukraine”
plan to continue conducting similar trainings and events, directing their efforts to increase the level of safety and awareness of active citizens.
The activity is supported by the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
