What is public information?

Everyone, including journalists, has the right to: – freely collect, store, use and disseminate information; – receive public information about the activities of authorities in a convenient way.

Public information is information that was created, received or is in the possession of subjects of government authority or other administrators in the process of performing their duties.

What are the signs of public information – in our next infographic.

We remind you that public information is open to everyone, except for cases specified by law.
