Nizhyn MC held a working meeting with the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and the Advisor to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine on Internally Displaced Persons in the Chernihiv Region

On November 3, 2015, a working meeting of the employees of the Nizhyn Local Center for the Provision of Free Secondary Legal Aid was held on the territory of the Nizhyn Local Center for the Provision of Free Secondary Legal Aid with employees of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights: the head of the legal reception center Natalia Piddubna and lawyer Iryna Biryuk, as well as the advisor to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine on Internally Displaced Persons in the Chernihiv region Nadia Ediyeva.

The purpose of the meeting was cooperation and consolidation of the efforts of the parties aimed at facilitating the provision of legal aid and legal social services in the interests of persons in need of free legal aid, as well as ensuring access to legal aid. The result of the meeting is a preliminary agreement on cooperation in organizing joint events aimed at increasing the level of legal awareness of citizens regarding the protection of their rights, in particular the right to free legal aid, and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.
