COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING

In order to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking, a guided viewing of the educational film “Destination Station – Life” was held, followed by a discussion in the general group under the leadership of Lyudmila Romanyuk, a teacher-trainer, a participant in the Project.

The seminar was addressed by Tukhan Ediev, head of programs of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights “Activities of the Committee to Combat Human Trafficking and Opportunities for Cooperation with the Education System”.

During the seminar, the regulatory and legal framework for combating human trafficking was considered, and proposals were discussed for conducting a lesson-educational hour in all educational institutions of the region on this issue. The seminar participants received handouts and methodological recommendations on the use of educational materials (the film “Destination Station – Life” for children and youth aged 16-19, a trainer’s manual, a participant’s manual “How to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking”) “Preventive work in educational institutions to combat human trafficking”, “Protection of the rights and interests of victims of human trafficking”.

According to the Chernihiv Regional State Administration
