How to avoid human trafficking in modern conditions

On October 18, on the European Day against Trafficking in Human Beings, representatives of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights, despite the air alarm that lasted for more than 15 hours, held an interactive workshop “How to Avoid Human Trafficking in Modern Conditions”.

During the interactive workshop, the participants of this event – students of the Chernihiv Regional Scientific Lyceum – not only received information about the activities of the public organization, but also realized the importance of understanding the problem of human trafficking.

The children tried their hand at the educational board game “Rose-Colored Glasses”, discussed important and controversial issues regarding the possible risks of getting into a human trafficking situation and personal responsibility, learned the rules of safe behavior. In addition, they talked about what human trafficking is and what types it exists.

We are confident that activities that involve interactive work of participants will help protect against dangers and make young people more aware of the world of modern challenges!

That is why, in order to reach a larger number of students with preventive work, we presented the representatives of the institution with comics with stories of human trafficking, as well as interactive games “Lisa and her friends travel the world” and “Rose-colored glasses”
