Project “Legal Community and Local Media: Partnership to Protect Freedom of Speech”

Our organization is implementing the project “Legal Community and Local Media: Partnership to Protect Freedom of Speech”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This project is aimed at creating long-term legal support tools for local media, journalists and bloggers. The project is implemented by the All-Ukrainian Coalition for Legal Aid together with partners in a number of regions of Ukraine.


What do we offer?

Legal aid: support on issues of professional activity of journalists, media and bloggers, including issues of illegal pressure, restrictions by law enforcement agencies, registration of media outlets and other aspects of daily activities.


Training series:

For local media: training events on freedom of speech that will help media representatives better protect their rights. For lawyers and advocates: specialized trainings on legal support for journalistic activities that will expand their expertise.
