REFUGEES AND MIGRANTS

The complex was built taking into account modern requirements and European standards, the building is designed for the simultaneous detention of 24 people. The complex includes service and technical premises, an office for working with detainees, a meeting room, a dining room, hygiene rooms, a laundry room, a medical center and two types of cell-type rooms. The premises are equipped with modern technical equipment. The complex serves 30 servicemen. The complex also has spacious areas for detainees to walk. One million hryvnias from state funds and charitable assistance in the amount of 200 thousand hryvnias were spent on the construction of the complex. The Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights also did not stand aside, providing the detention center for illegal migrants with human rights booklets and information stands that contain explanations in different languages ​​of the rights and obligations of detainees.

By the end of 2006, 2 more temporary detention centers will be put into operation in the Lviv and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky border detachments.
