Experience in implementing public budgets in ATCs was presented in Khmelnytskyi

“The number of united territorial communities that have dared to introduce participatory budgets in their communities is constantly growing,” they emphasized during the presentation of the experience of the project “Public Budget – a Dialogue Platform for Government and Community” in Khmelnytskyi

Today, a presentation of the results of our six-month activity to popularize participatory budgets among ATCs of the Khmelnytskyi region took place. During this time, we taught ATC representatives all the intricacies of implementing participatory budgets in communities – from adopting a regulation to monitoring the implementation of successful projects, provided consultations, and helped develop regulatory documents.

Representatives of remote communities also participated in the presentation via video link

The event was held as part of the project “Public Budget – a Dialogue Platform for Government and Community”, implemented by the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Coalition for Legal Aid with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy
