Interactive Installation “The Room Where Exploitation Lives” Opens in Chernihiv

In Chernihiv, IOM, together with the Chernihiv Public Committee for Human Rights Protection, presented the interactive installation “The Room Where Exploitation Lives” as part of its “LOOKS FAMILIAR?” information campaign.

The installation helps visitors recognize the signs of human trafficking and exploitation, identify risks they may encounter in everyday life, and learn where to seek help.

“IOM helps people see what often goes unnoticed. We want everyone to be able to recognize the signs of exploitation and know where to turn for help,” said Anna Cherniavska, National Protection Officer at IOM Ukraine.

The installation will remain open at Chernihiv Сentral Department Store until 18 August, 2026.

The “LOOKS FAMILIAR?” campaign is implemented by IOM Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the National Social Service of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, and the All-Ukrainian Coalition of NGOs to Combat Human Trafficking, with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
