Another attack on the apartment of the Yereskiv family from Chernihiv

On August 20, 2015, another illegal attack took place on the apartment of the Yereski family in Chernihiv at 27 Rokossovsky Street. A group of unknown young men of “characteristic appearance” broke down the door of the apartment in the morning and installed new doors and locks. At that time, the owners, Tetyana and Borys Yereski, were in the apartment. The police patrol and the precinct officer, who arrived on call, only observed the actions of the unknown individuals, who, without any legal grounds, arbitrarily tried to enter the apartment and evict the Yereski family.

Only after the intervention of human rights activists and the arrival of the city police department’s task force, were they able to get rid of the attackers.

Let us recall that for the eighth year, the case has been going on around the apartment of the Yereski family, who became victims of “black” realtors. Dozens of court hearings have already been held on the case, which are still ongoing.

The organizer of the deal – a Chernihiv realtor, who in a similar way deceived and deprived dozens of Chernihiv residents of their homes, has been wanted since November 2014. But despite being wanted, the realtor does not abandon attempts to illegally take possession of the Yereski family’s apartment through proxy persons.

The Yereski family’s case became all-Ukrainian in April 2013, when one of the proxy persons, who allegedly claimed the apartment, died right on the doorstep of the apartment from a heart attack after breaking down the apartment door.

The Yereski family once again appealed to the police and prosecutor’s office with a demand to bring the perpetrators to justice and protect the family from persecution.
