Chernihiv human rights defenders and volunteers strengthened their leadership and communications skills

We continue to work on strengthening our own organizational potential in current conditions and for effective work with vulnerable groups. This time, employees and volunteers of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights underwent training on the topic “Leadership and Effective Communications in the Work of a Public Activist”.

A modern specialist must not only have a high level of professionalism, but also always be ready to constantly enrich and update his knowledge and skills.

The effective functioning of the human rights movement system depends not only on the organizational structure and external factors, but also on the personal characteristics of activists and specialists, in particular, the level of development of leadership qualities.

One of the most effective ways to actualize and develop leadership qualities is socio-psychological training.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to consider their leadership inclinations and potential from different angles, experience the advantages and difficulties of leadership positions, and also determine their strengths and weaknesses in leadership in different situations. The main goal of the training is to expand ideas about the effectiveness of communication, teamwork, and ways to improve human potential.
