Chernihiv residents help military personnel in the ATO zone

Residents of Chernihiv region continue to provide humanitarian assistance to their fellow countrymen who are performing tasks within the framework of the anti-terrorist operation. The patriotic population of Chernihiv region also lends its shoulder to help the army in eastern Ukraine.
On July 10, 2014, cargo was once again sent from Chernihiv region to eastern Ukraine. Residents of the region, parents and relatives of mobilized persons, entrepreneurs and other caring citizens provided necessary goods, tourist equipment, food, medicines, electric lighting and other things for the Ukrainian military.
And although the servicemen are subordinate to another operational command, the leadership of the Chernihiv Regional Military Commissariat continues to provide comprehensive assistance to the unit. At the same time, the Chernihiv DEC carries out coordination work not only on the collection and transfer of humanitarian aid, but also on resolving legal issues of servicemen and their family members.
That is why, in such a difficult time for the state, cooperation has been established between the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and the Chernihiv Regional Military Commissariat to provide free legal assistance to servicemen and their family members in connection with the anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country.
