Chernihiv volunteers strengthened their leadership and communication skills

On October 22, 2023, a training was held for volunteers of the Chernihiv region on the topic “Leadership and effective communications in the work of a volunteer and activist”. The trainer of the event was an experienced national expert in supporting public initiatives, development and leadership, director of the AXALAR Center – Yuriy Trofymenko.

A modern specialist must have not only a high level of professionalism, but also always be ready to constantly enrich and update their knowledge and skills.

The effective functioning of the volunteer movement system depends not only on the organizational structure and external factors, but also on the personal characteristics of specialists, in particular, the level of development of leadership qualities.

One of the most effective ways to actualize and develop leadership qualities is socio-psychological training.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to consider their leadership inclinations and potential from different angles, experience the advantages and difficulties of leadership positions, and identify their strengths and weaknesses in leadership in different situations. The main goal of the training is to expand ideas about the effectiveness of communication, teamwork, and ways to improve human potential.

The event was organized by the NGO “Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights” together with the NGO “Active Society of Ukraine” with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
