Displaced people and local residents of Chernihiv region underwent another training on improving business management

On October 12-13 and October 19-20, 2017, additional trainings on improving business management were held in Chernihiv for beneficiaries who received grant assistance for the purchase of equipment, machinery and furniture within the framework of the project “Promoting the reconstruction and sustainable resolution of the problems of IDPs and the conflict-affected population in Ukraine”.
During the additional training on improving business management, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Kolb cycle and the spiral of improving skills, study the systems of productive work – GTD (Getting Things Done), learn about information technologies in business and useful tools (Trello, Google). The participants also discussed the possibilities of the Internet for business development and sales via the Internet, FB, as well as services: Airbnb, Uber, Bla bla car, , .
In addition, the training program was aimed at:
– discussion of difficulties and expert deficits in doing business:
– analysis of further prospects for the development of one’s own business;
– identification of basic errors that reduce business efficiency;
– discussion and resolution of problems that participants encounter in the course of business activities.
At the end of the training, the participants summed up the results of the two training days and discussed further steps.

, after providing grant assistance to project participants, the organization continues to assist all beneficiaries in conducting their business activities. This includes additional training on improving business operations, providing consultations on legal issues, and more. The project will last until April 2018, so during this time, consultants will constantly communicate with all beneficiaries, help solve their urgent problems during the implementation of business activities, hold personal meetings to exchange experiences between participants, and much more.
In Chernihiv region, the project “Promoting reconstruction and sustainable resolution of the problems of IDPs and conflict-affected populations in Ukraine” is implemented by the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Rights in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with financial support from the European Union.
