Displaced persons and residents of Chernihiv region can receive grant support for the development of self-employment and professional orientation

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), with financial support from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, acting through the Department for International Development (DFID), continues a project to support self-employment and career guidance for internally displaced persons and representatives of local communities in Ukraine.

The project includes a two-day training on

career guidance

and self-employment, providing consultations for project participants, writing and defending business plans or applications, on the basis of which a decision will be made on granting a grant.

Each project participant will be provided with an expert to assist in forming a business plan (group

and “Self-employment”) or applications for retraining courses (group “Professional Guidance”).


STAGE III. PROTECTION OF BUSINESS PLANS OR APPLICATIONS

A brief presentation of the business plan or application for retraining before the IOM commission, as a result of which a decision will be made on the allocation of a grant.


STAGE IV. GRANT AWARDING


60% of the project participants from each group will be allocated a grant for the purchase of equipment (groups

and “Self-employment”) or for taking retraining courses (group “Professional Guidance”).
