In his opinion, a kind of virtual election campaign is currently taking place in the region: it seems that the headquarters work by themselves, and the elections are taking place by themselves. It is possible that local party members have already finally decided where they will get their main votes and are working there with almost no competition from other political forces. In most settlements, except for district centers and Chernihiv, the elections are practically not felt. And people are most likely tired of the elections, of annoying television campaigning, of promises of improving life, of unrealistic figures, etc.

presented the report of the OPORA GM on the results of the observation in the Chernihiv region and familiarized those present with the main conclusions and recommendations.

On behalf of OPORA, he appealed to public organizations, media, parties and authorities to call on residents of the region to check their presence on the voter lists, starting from September 17.

But local problems in the elections were almost completely absent. According to OPORA leader Oleksandr Lomako, unfortunately, no political force presented a clear program of actions for possible representatives of the Chernihiv region in Parliament in the direction of lobbying and protecting the interests of the region. In addition, none of the party members even proposes to hold any public discussions on the problems of the region and possible ways to solve them. That is, the election campaign is disconnected from the realities of life in our region and concerns exclusively national problems.

Also, all parties calmly pour mud on each other without using (so far) the so-called black PR, and also use administrative resources, the official position of officials of any rank, distribute gifts right and left, bribe voters, etc. And, perhaps, that is why so many people have not yet made their choice, regardless, or maybe precisely because of door-to-door campaigning.

True, representatives of monitoring organizations predict an explosion of campaigning passions in a few days, throwing a lot of dirt on the heads of future elected officials, the use of black technologies, etc. Perhaps, and indeed, voters will spend the last couple of weeks having fun, in a good mood from reading commissioned articles, watching interesting TV spots of famous personalities, some political provocations, and also handing out free pink elephants…
