How to quickly and conveniently get legal assistance via Skype?

Whenever we hear the word “Skype,” we imagine a pleasant conversation with a friend or distant relative. It is not yet widely known that in Chernihiv region this program is used to provide legal advice. For more than a year, an all-Ukrainian project has been successfully operating to provide free legal assistance to residents of remote areas of Chernihiv region and disadvantaged groups of the population.

Lawyers of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights, together with the libraries of the region, have established work so that every villager can come to their library and get answers to legal questions via Skype.

Together with the lawyers of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights, specialists from the Main Department of Justice in the Chernihiv region, the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region, and the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration are involved in such important work.

This human rights initiative aims to provide the prerequisites for the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Free Legal Aid” in the region.

Therefore, if you wish to receive legal information or consultation on land, civil, housing law, or you are concerned about the issue of social protection of the population or pension provision – visit one of the libraries of the Chernihiv region that are connected to this project. We remind you that the remote consultation point is constantly operating on the basis of the Chernihiv Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V.G. Korolenko every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Thanks to this initiative, a lot of money and time that people would have spent to come to the city was saved.

Information about the convenience of online consultation via Skype has spread so quickly that a much larger number of people are now visiting libraries.
