Human rights activists help social workers in Nizhyn region

Continuing our work with communities, on August 11, we visited the city of Nizhyn and held a working meeting with representatives of the Nizhyn City Center for Social Services.

Together with our colleagues, we discussed the needs of the local population, the possibilities of attracting resources from the region and international organizations.

Separately, we talked about the need to provide comprehensive services to vulnerable categories of the population and the need to carry out preventive measures, although in war conditions this is very difficult.

The activity is taking place within the framework of the project “Rebuilding Communities and Protecting War-Affected Populations in Chernihiv Oblast” with the support of the Press, Education, and Culture Section of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
