Lawyers of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights receive internally displaced persons in Oschadbank institutions

In Sumy, within the framework of the implementation of the free legal aid program, a new initiative of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) was launched – within the framework of the implementation of the free legal aid program, an agreement on cooperation was reached between the DRC and Oschadbank.

A lawyer from the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights in Sumy held the first reception of internally displaced persons and other citizens with legal issues at Oschadbank branch No. 10018/0145, located on Illinska Street in Sumy.

The Sumy regional department of Oschadbank supported the DRC’s proposal to accommodate lawyers in the premises of the bank’s institutions. Agreements were reached with the leadership of one of the local branches, a place for a lawyer to work was organized, and a work schedule was drawn up within the framework of this project.

The project “Legal Protection of the Population Affected by the Conflict” is implemented by the Danish Refugee Council in partnership with the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights with financial support from the Office of Emergency Assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (OFDA/USAID).
