Legal assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and volunteers

The All-Ukrainian Coalition for Legal Aid continues to operate legal aid and information support points for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Chernihiv region.

We are pleased to announce that within the framework of this project, the focus of our lawyers’ consultations is expanding. Legal aid and support can be received by:

– IDPs;

– volunteers;

– volunteer non-profit organizations;

– charitable organizations, etc.

Our legal support point provides information and consultations on the following issues:

● Legislative provisions on issues related to the rights and obligations of IDPs.

● Procedure for issuing a certificate of registration of IDPs and an application for monthly targeted assistance to IDPs.

● Guarantees of receiving assistance to insured persons within the framework of the eSupport Program.

● Establishment of facts that have legal significance (birth, death in the occupied territories).

● Recording losses and damage due to hostilities and receiving appropriate compensation.

● Other issues related to internal displacement and damage from hostilities in Ukraine.

● Registration of a volunteer organization during the war.

● Tax benefits for volunteer and non-profit organizations.

● Register of non-profit institutions and organizations.

● Requirements for a non-profit organization.

● Other current issues for non-profit organizations.
