Patrol police and public activists of Chernihiv joined the celebration of Children’s Day

On June 1, an event was held in the Popudrenko square of Chernihiv to celebrate Children’s Day. The initiators were the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and the Department of Patrol Police of the Chernihiv Region.

On this day, Chernihiv patrol officers joined a real holiday of children’s dreams. The children were able to sit in the cabin of a patrol Toyota Prius, turn the steering wheel, talk to the guards, get acquainted with special equipment, hold a walkie-talkie in their hands and feel like real police officers.

The little ones had the opportunity to participate in various educational and informational shows and games aimed at familiarizing children with the activities of the patrol police. There were also demonstrations by dog handlers.

Later, the little guests demonstrated how well they knew the rules of behavior and safety on the road.

During the event, everyone received incentive prizes from the police in the form of information booklets, stickers, and balloons with the patrol police logo.

“In cooperation with the patrol police, we constantly hold similar educational events for various target groups. Today, on Children’s Day, we decided to organize such an event for children. Such events are aimed at raising awareness of both children and adults about the activities of the patrol police and the basics of safety,” notes
