REPORT on the Activities of the Chernihiv Public Committee for Human Rights Protection for 2025

We have prepared our annual report, summarizing the key results of our work in 2025. This past year was defined by the stories of people who were able to recover after losing their homes, surviving violence, or facing exploitation. It was also about the trust of those who turn to us for help. The Committee’s work covered the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, encompassing legal aid, awareness campaigns, professional training, and support for individuals in difficult life circumstances.

Key figures highlighting the scale of our impact:

• ⚖️ 794 legal consultations provided to those seeking assistance;
• 📄 145 cases of secondary legal aid (including the preparation of 115 lawsuits);
• 👩‍⚖️ 708 women and 232 men received legal support;
• 📚 46 awareness sessions on combating gender-based violence;
• 🛑 74 awareness sessions on countering human trafficking.
