The all-Ukrainian initiative “POLiS” (“Police and Community”) is being presented in Chernihiv

On September 16, 2016, on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., a press conference will be held at the Chernihiv City Library named after M.M. Kotsiubynsky (22 Kyrponos St.) to present the activities of the all-Ukrainian initiative “POLiS” (“Police and Community”), which is being implemented with the support of the international organization IREX in a number of cities in Ukraine, including Chernihiv.

The “POLiS” (“Police and Community”) program aims to establish cooperation and interaction between the police and those for whom it works and whom it protects.

In addition, a plan of joint events for the next few months will be presented, which will be implemented with the support and in cooperation with the Patrol Police Department of Chernihiv.

The partner organizations of “POLiS” in Chernihiv (NGO “Center of Interaction”, NGO “MART”, NGO “Prevention Center “Vybir”, M.M. Kotsiubynskyi City Library, O.P. Dovzhenko City Library for Children, Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights) plan to hold various events and activities for various target groups with the participation of patrol police officers.

Representatives of the Patrol Police Department of Chernihiv and the media are invited to participate in the press conference.
