Working meeting with a representative of the free legal aid system in Chernihiv region

Representatives of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights Natalia Kulikova and Iryna Biryuk held a working meeting with the representative of the Eastern Interregional Center for the Provision of Free Legal Aid Iryna Protchenko.

They were introduced to the details of the implementation of the project “Protection and Support for Victims of Gender-Based Violence in Wartime in Chernihiv Oblast”, which is currently being implemented within the framework of the “Capable and Strong” program, which is implemented with the support of Switzerland.

They also talked about the features of providing comprehensive services to victims of gender-based violence, human trafficking and exploitation at the level of the Chernihiv region.

provided information on the reorganization of the free legal aid system and the system’s future operation.

During the meeting, they discussed future cooperation in conducting joint educational activities to increase public and risk group awareness of gender-based violence and opportunities for receiving assistance.


The project “Protection and Support for Victims of Gender-Based Violence in Wartime in Chernihiv Oblast” is implemented by the NGO “Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights” within the framework of the “Capable and Strong” program, which is implemented with the support of Switzerland.
