A regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Council on Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence and Combating Human Trafficking at the Chernihiv Regional Office of the Interior was held

The representative of the Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights Iryna Biryuk  Such monitoring was carried out by employees of the Main Department of the National Social Service Service in Chernihiv region together with the NGO “Association of Experts on Prevention and Counteraction to Gender-Based Violence”.

The Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Social Service Service in Chernihiv region, Yulia Olyfirenko, informed those present that there are 43 mobile teams of socio-psychological assistance operating in the region, 4 of which were established in 2025. However, in 14 communities such specialized support services for victims of domestic violence are absent, and this situation needs to be corrected. But there are also many problems in the existing mobile teams that require attention.
